Project Goal & Challenge
The client needed a compelling digital banner/flier to promote their “Impact and Prayer Conference,” visually communicating the powerful theme of transformation: “From Ashes to Beauty (Fruitfulness for Better Life).”

The primary challenge was to balance a solemn, spiritual theme (Ashes/Prayer) with an optimistic, actionable one (Beauty/Impact/Fruitfulness) while clearly presenting all critical event logistics (dates, times, and venue/platform). The design needed to resonate instantly with a faith-based audience and drive attendance.
My Solution & Execution
I designed a high-impact digital banner that uses both visual metaphor and a clear typographic hierarchy to guide the viewer.
- Visual Strategy (Metaphor): I moved beyond literal imagery of ashes and focused on the journey from darkness to light and barrenness to bloom. The final design featured rich, warm colors (like deep violet or gold) contrasting with a bright, hopeful element (a sprouting plant, a rising sun, or clean, elegant typography).
- Design Hierarchy:
- The Theme (“From Ashes to Beauty”) was made the most prominent text to immediately hook the viewer.
- The main event title (“Impact and Prayer Conference”) was clearly positioned for brand recognition.
- All Logistics (Dates: 24-26th; Times: Friday & Saturday: 3 PM; Sunday: 7 AM) were grouped together and presented in a clean, legible font to prevent confusion.
- Deliverables: A high-resolution digital flier/banner, optimized for display across various digital platforms (social media, website headers, WhatsApp distribution).

Skills Utilized
- Visual Storytelling: Translating a complex theological theme into a simple, compelling visual.
- Typographic Design: Establishing a clear visual hierarchy for event logistics.
- Color Theory: Using color to convey emotional tone (struggle vs. hope).
- Client Communication: Efficiently interpreting a concise brief into a professional final design.
